Who Are We?
Nebi Güney İmam Hatip is a vocational religious secondary school, established in 2013. Although Nebi Güney is very new in Antalya, it has managed to be one of the pioneers in many areas; including sports, skill based learning, academic success, environmentally friendly class experiences, raising open-minded and highly sensitive students to the world around them.
The age range of the pupils is 10-14 and we have grades 5, 6, 7 and 8 in the middle school. There are 1008 students and 75 teachers in 34 classrooms at school. The student-teacher ratio is 13:1 and the student-classroom ratio is 30:1 at Nebi Güney. We have many facilities, pitches and buildings at the school campus; which are soccer, basketball and volleyball pitches, cafeteria, swimming pool, mosque, greenhouse, gyms, auditorium, library, labs, 34 traditional classrooms equipped with all the newest technologies, skill based classrooms such as wood workshop, ceramic workshop, coding, chess, art, music, archery, wrestling, choir, information technology, dance, drama.
Our students and teachers are so willing to meet new people from all over Europe that we want to participate in new multicultural etwinning projects. Our staff and students have most of the new opportunities in technology and they are highly integrated to the online classes so running an etwinning project with the stakeholders from different countries will be an easy challenge and a good chance to meet new peers. We have further plans to apply an Erasmus+ project with our etwinning partners.
